Pushed forward to lead, held narrow lead all the way down straight & held head advantage on line.

Raced just worse than midfield between runners. Shifted wider on straightening, raced tight between runners passing 250m mark before closing strongly in final 150m to fall a head short.
3MURRAY'S PARTNERS  Z Purton  (V-/B2)

Had no early speed but ridden along after start to race in midfield on rail. Shuffled slightly further back mid-race, stayed close to the rail on straightening before finishing well to third, beaten only 1.5L.

Raced near the rear after the start before making mid-race-move near the 1000m & improving to race 3 wide no cover outside the leaders from the 850m. Continued to be close to lead until peaking last 100m, under 2L behind.
5VILLA FIONN  A Hamelin  (B)

Steadied after start & shifted behind runners to race near the tail. Continued near tail in middle stages, shifted to be wider in straight, closed off ok to be beaten about 2L in midfield.

Checked near the 1400m before racing in midfield when 2 wide. Shifted to be 3 wide with cover from the 900m. Shifted 4 wide on cornering, raced tight at 250m before finishing off only moderately in final furlong.

Raced worse than midfield on rail before relegated to the tail near half-way. Shared last place entering last section, held up 300m to 100m before making some late headway in concluding stages.

Midfield early, relegated to second last near 1100m before moving into 3 wide line & improving to midfield with cover from the 800m. Moved 5 wide at 450m, very wide on straightening, weakened last furlong. (See report).

Steadied & raced last early before commencing mid-race-move from the 1000m mark before racing 4 wide no cover in midfield from the 800m. Began yielding ground from the 450m mark & was last, nearly 10L behind.
