Not fast away but hard ridden to improve & settle outside the leader throughout. Moved up to take lead soon after straightening, was never a long way clear but dug deep in concluding stages to hold neck advantage on line.

Began well & came across from the middle of the line to get good position 1,1 for majority. Hard ridden from the 450m mark but continued to make continuous steady ground in the straight to be only a neck behind on line.

Began well from gate 11 before coming across to midfield, 3 wide early before getting one off rail from about the 600m. Shifted wider passing 400m mark, wider on cornering before closing well to third place in final strides.

Showed early speed to lead. Headed in the lead by the winner soon after cornering but battled well in concluding stages to only be beaten about a length on line.

Crowded soon after the start before getting position in midfield on rail. Cornered about 3.5L behind, stayed close to rail in straight before closing well in concluding stages to only be beaten 1.5L.

Race din midfield three wide with cover before being left without cover momentarily from the 500m when racing around bend. Cornered about 4.5L from the lead before making up a few lengths when running onto midfield.

Bumped & hampered at start before racing behind the leader throughout. Ridden along on cornering as first two raced clear before finishing off one paced to be beaten just over 2L in midfield.

Badly hampered at start & clipped heels soon after & consequently raced worse than midfield on the rail. Entered last section 5L behind before halving margin in the straight when closing to midfield. Only beaten just over 2L.

Raced in midfield away from rail before failing to hold position in middle stages & drifting slightly further back. Cornered over 4.5L from lead before failing to challenge in the sprint to line. Rider questioned, see report.

Steadied at the start & taken back to worse than midfield between runners. Ridden along entering the last section when 6L behind, shifted wider on straightening, halved margin but still third last in race not run to suit.

Taken back from outside gate to race a clear last after the start. Hard ridden entering last section when over 7L behind, only beat one runner home but ran fastest last section but was too far back in the run.

Slow to begin & settled second from last away from the rail. Moved wider on the track around the bend, continued near the back over 6L from the lead on cornering before failing to make any headway in straight. Last.
