Jumped very awkwardly losing considerable ground, trailed the field into home straight, switched the widest turning in, finished off well down the centre of the track to snatch victory final strides.

Began well from a wide gate, shifted back steadily to wide in joint 6th in forward of midfield, hit the front briefly inside the 300 metres only to be caught close to home.

Broke well from the widest gate but soon taken back to rear for cover, commenced move when widest rounding home bend, ran on quite well under pressure down the centre of the straight, nearest at finish.

Close up early despite moderate start, some 3L back in 4th or 5th coming onto home bend when pace quickened, 2L back turning into home straight, fought on under pressure to narrowly miss the place-getters.

Gradually taken back to rear of midfield from a wide gate, remained without cover until home bend, switched out for a run after straightening, fought on quite well to be nearest at finish.

Shared pace early, shifted one back to 3rd 1100 metres out, 2L back in 3rd when inconvenienced 700 metres out on home bend, baulked for a run after straightening until the 250 metres, fought on along the rail to finish.

Prominent 3-wide early, hit the front briefly passing the 1000 metres before shifting one back coming onto home bend, disputed lead early in straight, unable to sustain effort inside final 200 metres.

Began well from a middle gate settling not far off the pace, became further back in 5th or 4th when pace quickened on home bend, re-gained closer-up position turning in, kept on until hampered 150 metres out, no further impression.

Travelled keenly on the rail with the leaders, moved 1L clear briefly coming onto home bend, led until finding no extra when headed shortly after straightening.

Ridden along to recover from moderate start, settled in joint 6th on the rail about 4 to 5L off the pace, did not find much room after straightening, fought on steadily to the line.

Settled in midfield, came under pressure after straightening, kept on before fading inside final 100 metres.
