Raced 3 wide early before coming over to position 1,1 from the 900m. Just over a length from the lead entering last section, asked for full effort near 300m, moved to lead approaching 150m & was too strong late.
2STRONGER  C Y Ho  (CP-/XB/SR1/TT-)

Jumped well before drifting back to race just worse than midfield away from rail. Was third last on cornering, entered last section 3.5L from the lead before finishing strongly down the outside to be under a length behind.

3SKY FIELD  B Shinn  (TT)

Drifted back to race third last along rail in early stages. Cornered about 3L from the lead, shifted outwards passing the 300m to get clear running before finishing well to steal third in late stages, beaten just over a length.
4DUKE WAI  K Teetan  (B/H)

Raced in midfield between runners early before becoming keen when crossed near the 900m. Entered last section just over 2L behind before finishing well in concluding stages to be beaten just over a length.
5COMPUTER PATCH  M Chadwick  (TT)

Pushed forward & held the lead when racing away from the rail & having second at his flanks in middle stages. Shared the lead on straightening, joined by the winner approaching the 150m, peaked late.

6VOYAGE WARRIOR  R Maia

Raced in second along the rail when racing at the flanks of the leader. Improved to share the lead on the inside on straightening, continued close until peaking at 175m & giving a few lengths late. Not beaten far.
7RATTAN  C Schofield  (B)

Not the fastest to begin but mustered speed to race in midfield on rail. Came under pressure on straightening when just over 2L from the lead before weakening a few lengths in final 250m.
8FAT TURTLE  A Badel  (B)

Steadied after start & shifted back from widest gate to second last. Continued rearward on straightening, 5L from the lead, shifted to be the widest runner but made no meaningful headway into margin & was 4.5L behind on line.
9WISHFUL THINKER  K C Leung

Steadied after the start & shifted back to the tail. Continued to share last place on straightening, 5L from the lead before making no headway in dash to line & being beaten that margin when last.
