Slightly slow out, settled towards rear in 10th on the rail, commenced move passing the 600 metres and angled out for a run entering straight, ran on well to snatch victory final strides.

2NAMJONG PLUS  A Hamelin

Niggled at early stages, settled in midfield in 6th most of back straight, gained slightly closer over 600 metres out, sustained progress from 2L 4th into straight to hit the front 150 metres out, pipped at post.
3CLEMENT LEGEND  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Taken well back for rails run from the widest gate, trailed the field to home bend, saved ground on the inner turning in, ran on well under pressure to be nearest at finish.

4RED ELYSEES  K C Leung  (B)

Began well from a wide gate, pressed forward to lead 3-wide 1400 metres out before obtaining rails run shortly afterwards, steadied pace in the front in back straight and led until headed under pressure 150 metres out.
5DIVINE UNICORN  M L Yeung  (TT)

Settled in rear of midfield early stages, gradually dropped to last few in back straight, saved ground on the inside turning for home, ran on to do best work late.

6TASHIDELEK  A Badel  (B)

Travelled wide in midfield after sluggish start, circled the field around first bend before settling outside the leader in back straight, drew level early in straight but unable to sustain effort inside the final 200 metres.
7SUPER ELEGANCE  C Schofield  (B/TT)

Settled well back from a wide gate, 3-wide rounding home bend when came under pressure, went very wide dropping to last turning in before producing good late impression down the centre of home straight.

8PEACH BLOSSOMS  H W Lai  (B1/TT)

Began well from the one draw, settled just off the pace behind the leader to straight, tightened on the rail over 200 metres out, made no further impression.

9BLASTOISE  C L Chau  (SR)

Broke well to be close up early, drifted back steadily towards the rear 800 metres out, found nothing under pressure in home straight. (Questioned for disappointing performance)
10STIMULATION  V Borges  (B/TT)

Broke well from a wide gate, soon taken back towards the rear travelling 3-wide without cover, went very wide and dropped to second last into straight, fought on steadily without threatening.
11CHEERFUL LEADER  T Piccone  (CP/XB)

Began well from a middle gate, settled in one-out-one-back position coming onto first bend, remained in similar position when came under pressure approaching home straight but soon weakened.

12SUPERBELLA  K H Chan  (V-/CP1/TT1)

Bumped and unbalanced early, pulled keenly towards first few rounding first bend, shifted back to midfield in back straight, weakened under pressure on straightening.
