Settled in rear of midfield on the rail, baulked until the 300 metres, quickened well inside the final 250 metres to lead 100 metres out, just held on to the line.

Travelled keenly in midfield early stages, baulked for a run after straightening, finished off the race well to just fail to get up on line.

Slow to muster settling towards the rear in 10th on the rail, baulked until obtaining a run between runners 250 metres out, ran on well under pressure, did best work late.

Niggled along in first few, quickened early in straight to hit the front briefly over 200 metres out, swamped 100 metres out.

Settled well behind, saved ground turning in, ran on well to be nearest at finish.

Crowded at start, trailed the field to home bend, commenced move out wide 600 metres out, widest runner turning in, ran on quite well down the centre of the track.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted across to near the rail behind midfield, soon came to challenge after straightening, one-paced without quickening.

Soon took up running, ceded advantage for one-back position over 1000 metres out, awkwardly placed on heels early in straight, failed to make any impression inside the final 200 metres.

Moderate start from a wide gate, improved steadily to reach 2nd about 1100 metres out, weakened under pressure inside the final 200 metres.

Broke well from a wide gate but soon dropped to forward of midfield in 6th and wide without cover, in similar position into straight, soon faded.
