Raced on the leaders back for the majority. Moved three wide around tiring leader passing the 500m, made gradual ground in the straight, struck the lead inside the final 100m & continued to line for narrow win.
2HEAVENLY THOUGHT  J Moreira  (H)

Shifted across from wide gate at winning post, before obtaining the rail & getting economical run throughout. Moved away from rail on straightening, shifted inwards at furlong, made steady late ground. Narrowly beaten.
3LIGHTNING STEED  M Chadwick  (TT)

Strode forward before being crossed passing 1200m & racing second away from rail. Moved up to assume lead passing the 500m, raced clear on straightening. Maintained lead until being joined inside final 100m. Close behind.
4INDIGENOUS STAR  H W Lai

Began well before being headed & racing in midfield away from rail. Continued in midfield, 4L from lead at half-way. Ran on into forth in in the straight but effectively held margin relative to winner in dash home.
5PRETTY BAUHINIA  K Teetan  (B)

Shifted behind runners to race rearward after first turn. Moved wider with cover passing the 800m. Hard ridden passing the 550m, shifted the widest on straightening before making some late ground to well held forth.
6HARRIER JET  S de Sousa  (V/TT)

Shifted across to race worse than midfield early, checked when pace slowed near 800m & consequently relegated to second last. Over 7 lengths form lead on cornering before closing off in fastest last section from poor position.

7MANAGEMENT STAR  A Badel  (B/TT)

Slow to begin, settled back early, moved wider & improved around field from the 800m, getting within 2L from lead at 600m. Forced 4 wide passing the 600m, peaked shortly after straightening & yielded a few lengths thereafter.
8CHARITY WINGS  T Piccone  (B)

Held midfield position in early & middle stages before moving three wide & improving approaching the 600m. Moved the second widest on straightening before peaking shortly after. Yielded a length or two in final furlong.
9MISTER MONTE  G van Niekerk  (B)

Strode forward after start before settling in forth position, away from rail with cover. Moved three wide passing the 600m, cornered around 2L form lead before peaking shortly after straightening. Didn't threaten.
10TUNG WAH GLORY  M L Yeung  (P1)

Steadied after start, shifted back to last. Continued a clear last entering last section, and despite making up a length or two relative to leaders was well beaten & was never likely.
11ELECTRIC LIGHTNING  K H Chan  (B/TT)

Hard ridden after start before crossing to rail in the lead by the 1200m. Headed in the lead passing the 500m when coming under heavy pressure before weakening out noticeably in last section. (Rider questioned).

Raced in midfield on rail in early & middle stages. Shuffled back nearing corner, only 3 runners behind, peaked on straightening & weakened out to well beaten last.
