From wide draw taken across behind runners, reserved towards the rear 7-8Ls off the good pace, ran on strongly down outside on straightening, got up close home.

Settled down midfield, chased hard to be fighting for lead inside 200M, briefly lead inside 100M, headed by winner late.

Chased leader in a strongly run race, quickened to lead 250M, battled on when challenged by rivals both sides, peaked late had to settle for minor placing.

Never far off from leaders, swung wide into straight, ran on well and looked winning chance 200M, outstayed by top 3 final stages.
