Crossed to the lead before 1st turn, led uncontested for the first half, quickened up pace from 800M, tackled by runner up over final 200M but kept finding to ward off late challenge.

In 3rd place tracking leader to the straight, strongly challenged eventual winner from 250M, just held.

Held up 2nd last over 9Ls off the pace early and middle stages, headway along inside from 400M, ran on well to claim 3rd but not getting to first 2.

Settled down in midfield 5Ls back, hard driven 500M, stayed on mildly towards the finish.
