Away well to be tracking leader 2-wide, moved up and took over 500M, kicked clear 250M, dug deep late with strong determination late to hold off late challenge of runner-up.

From widest draw slotted into midfield spot along the 3-path, 3Ls to make up on leader 400M, finished off nicely in the straight, just couldn't reel in the winner.

Never far off form the pace, improved steadily passing 400M, kept chasing first 2 final 200M but held.
