Fairly away, crowded on jumping and dropped back towards the rear of the field. Came around off heels 200m. Got to lead at 75m, and stayed on strongly late.
2KEEN VENTURE  M L Yeung

Cruised forward early and settled just behind midfield. Ran strongly in the straight, and looked to be the winner 150m. Overtaken late and couldn't match winners speed.
3DOCTOR GEOFF  K Teetan  (H)

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit a clear last. Still last at 400m, but proceeded to show good turn of foot. Hung out badly in the straight, despite running strongly, and finished the race along the outside rail.
4RIVET  T Berry  (XB/H1/TT)

Fairly away but recovered well from the inside draw to sit midfield. Stayed on well in the straight, but didn't have the same kick as the first 3.
5SOLAR HEI HEI  B Prebble

Pushed forward early, eventually settling behind the leader, on the fence. Led in the straight until 120m. 1 paced late and swamped.
6LUCKY GIRL  A Badel

Crowded on jumping and then eased forward to settle midfield. Came around heels for clear run at 250m. Stayed on solidly late, without threatening.
7CIRCUIT GLORY  K C Leung  (H/XB)

Fractious in the barriers. Pushed forward early, before being steadied at 1400m for cover and racing keen. Eventually settled worse than midfield. Lay out on the turn and 300m. Stayed on OK under hands and heels.
8BIG BANG BONG  S Clipperton

Pressed forward early to settle 2nd/3rd, 1 off the fence. Still well placed at 200m, but went to the line 1 paced.
9RISE HIGH  Z Purton  (XB)

Pushed forward early to lead passing the 1200m. Didn't finish off, and was eased late. Jockey questioned.
10PERPETUAL TREASURE  K C Ng  (TT)

Taken forward early to be well placed 4th/5th, on the fence. Only plugged away in the straight under minimal urging.
11SPEEDY LONGWAH  N Callan  (B/TT)

Bumped and unbalanced on jumping and then dropped back to sit 2nd last. Plugged away in the straight late.
12HANG'S DECISION  C Y Ho  (CP/H)

Eased out early to sit just behind midfield, 3 wide with no cover. Gave nothing in the straight.
13HAPPY AGILITY  U Rispoli  (V/TT)

Began awkwardly and eased back towards the rear of the field. Didn't respond to riding and was eased late.
14DRAGON LIPS  M Chadwick  (H1/TT1)

Crowded on jumping but recovered well enough to press forward to sit 4th/5th, 1 off the fence. Out of gas by the 400m and not persevered with after 200m.
