Showed good early speed to go straight to the front. Got moving at the 250m, and away clear. Hands and heels late when well ahead.
2BAD BOY  S Clipperton  (H/TT)

Broke well, and taken across early to sit 3 off the outside rail, with a clear run in front. Ran strongly in the straight, but couldn't match it with the winner and not pushed last 50m when assured 2nd.
3RACING SUPERNOVA  Z Purton

Badly crowded on jumping, & forced to the back of the field early. Lost a run at the 400m, and came out off heels to keep pressing forward. Got into a narrow gap at 100m, and finished well, despite not being able to use the persuader.
4MALMSTEEN  H W Lai

Came across early to sit behind the leaders, 1 off the outside rail. Looking for a run from the 250m, moving closer to the centre of the track. OK to the line late, just missing a place.
5GOLDEN HARVEST  K K Chiong  (TT)

Had to come across from the inside draw to sit midfield, up the centre of the track. Stayed on well late, under minimal urging.
6CHARITY JOY  N Rawiller  (B/TT)

Allowed to be crossed early, settling on the rail, 1 behind the leaders. Battled on fairly late, without threatening a place.
7HELLA HEDGE  H N Wong  (B)

Pushed up early to share the lead. Faded from the 200m, and only hands and heels late.
8ARCHIPPUS  K C Leung  (B/H/TT)

Fractious in the barrier and slow to begin, but still managed to cross to the outside rail. Boxed in over the final 300m, and was never tested in the run to the line.
9COUNTRY MELODY  B Prebble  (H)

Eased across early to have a clear run down the straight. One paced, and no kick.
10SMART DECLARATION  H T Mo  (SR/TT)

Drifted across to sit around midfield. Tried to come out away from heels at 350m, before coming back in again. Raced tight when attempting a run between horses at 200m and only fair to the line late.
11MY LITTLE FRIEND  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Cruised forward early, and settled around midfield. Not worked hard in the straight, and made no impression.
12MAJESTIC ANTHEM  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Cruised forward early, eventually settling last. Battled to keep up, and only went past some slower ones late.
13TRIUMPHANT JEWEL  C Schofield  (B/TT)

Taken forward early, with a clear run near the centre of the track. Had no kick, and eased out last 150m.
14HAPPY YEAH YEAH  M L Yeung  (V)

Settled at the back of the field early. Showed nothing during the race, and never pushed out.
