Began awkwardly, racing 3-wide behind pace before taking off 1000m to lead 800m, then slowing pace. Strongly challenged on straightening but kept finding for narrow win.

Pressed forward, racing outside leader to 1000m when joined by third runner. Allowed leader to cross around turn, challenged from 300m, looked chance 200m, just failed.

Began well, pressed forward to sit behind leading trio 800m before settling one-off, one-back at turn. Rolled forward from 300m but unable peg back leading pair.

Hard ridden to go forward but held 3-wide and eased, settling behind midfield. Switched wide in straight and ran on steadily to just miss a placing.

First into stride but unable handle early pace, slipping into box seat 800m before shuffled two-back at turn. Took inside run in straight and ran on steadily.

Away well, pressed forward holding rail inside leading trio to 800m before taking box seat at turn. No run top of straight and flattened close home.

Shifted across behind runners from outside draw, settling towards rear in one-off position. Ran on fairly in straight while laying in under pressure.
