Began well, not pushed, hugging rail 2-back from leader. Pressed forward on straightening, took over lead passing 250m, held off late challenge.

Jumped OK, badly hampered near 1000m dropping 2-back along rail. Tracked eventual winner to 200m, switched out and finished strongly to just fail.
3MASQUERADER  H W Lai  (B/TT)

Jumped with field, ridden but didn't muster, dropping to rear. Held position around turn, swung wide into straight, ran on strongly under the whip.
4AMAZING ALWAYS  K K Chiong  (B/TT)

Bumped on jumping, no pace, dropping to last before turn. Well back entering straight, taken to centre track, kept on well.
5SILVER GATSBY  K C Ng  (B/TT)

Ridden forward to find cover, bumped 1000m, then held 3-wide in midfield. Put under pressure on straightening and boxed on gamely.

Away quickly, holding rail before settling in box seat. Bumped and unbalanced top of straight, boxed on to 200m before tiring.

Taken quickly to fence but outpaced, dropping to rear. Held up top of straight, switched in and out to get run, crowded out 150m, finished off nicely.

Began awkwardly, bumped and unbalanced, bumped again 1000m. Crowded 900m, tightened 600m, checked 350m. Boxed on.

Hard ridden to lead on settling, then slowed pace. Overtaken passing 250m and faded. Had substantial amount of mucus in trachea.

Pressed forward from outside draw, settling 1L behind leader. Bumped and taken out 400m, checked 200m when giving ground. Minor wound on right hind paster.

Crowded out start, pressed forward but held wide without cover 2L from leader. Severely checked top of straight and faded. Had substantial amount of blood and mucus in trachea.
