Began only fairly, improved to a midfield position passing 1000M, quickened up well to take lead 200M, driven clear and won it decisively. (Blood in trachea)

Eased back, settled towards the rear, wide bid 500M, closed off well down outside, got up for 2nd near 50M, nearest finish. (Jockey lost whip 200M.)

Dropped back to rear 6Ls off the pace, brought wide home turn, stayed on well for 3rd.

Never far off, 3-wide run passing 600M, loomed a threat early straight, kept on under pressure but got out-finished final 200M.

Led and set steady pace, kept on effort early straight, headed inside 200M, weakened to 5th late stages.

Settled down behind midfield 4Ls away, ran on mildly early straight, lost momentum when shifted in under pressure mid-straight and to be straightened up, could have finished closer.

Steadied and lost ground 1100M, ended up in rear pair 6-7Ls away, plenty to do top of straight, stayed on without threat.

Pushed along after the start, moved up to chase leaders but caught wide no cover from draw 12, going one paced early straight, faded final 100M.

Tracked leaders along the inside, but raced with its head on the side throughout and inclined to shift away from fence, not quickened on straightening, soon out of contention.
