Began fairly, ridden to make up ground, settling in box seat 2L from leader. Blocked for run early in straight, found gap 200m out and powered through to win in final strides.

Pushed hard to lead passing 1250m and then steadied pace. Kicked clear on straightening for home, still well ahead 200m, run down final stages.
3OUR GENERATION  Y T Cheng  (XB)

Outpaced early, settling at rear along rail. Held for clear running around turn, hampered shortly after entering straight, shifted in 150m to get run and finished strongly.
4CHOICE TREASURE  C Y Ho

Shifted across behind runners from wide draw and last on settling. Made up some ground around turn, switched wide in straight and ran on steadily.
5RACING HERO  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Began well, pressed forward racing three-wide but only 2L from leader. Kept wide but within striking distance to 200m when tightened, turning one-paced.
6ALL WIN BOY  H W Lai  (H/TT)

Fractious before start and sat in stall but passed fit. Jumped OK, ridden to hold fence three back from leader. Kept on steadily in straight. Found to have blood at left nostril, abrasions on right eye and lame right front leg.

First out but forced to race wide, dropping back to third before moving outside leader around turn. Kept on fairly in straight before tiring final stages.

Crowded out at start, dropping to rear but away from fence. Clear last around turn, taken wide in straight and ran on fairly.

Slow into stride, racing at rear before being switched three-wide and making up ground to within 4L of leader. Kept on fairly to 200m before tiring.

Pressed forward from outside draw to race outside leader but proved difficult to settle. Shifted out turning for home and lost position, one-paced in straight.
11GRAN BOLIVAR  H N Wong

Hard ridden from outside draw but slow to muster, racing wide without cover about 3L from leader. Boxed on gamely until 200m when tired. Found to have substantial blood in trachea.
12LIUZHOU WARRIOR  D Lane

No early speed, racing between horses at the rear. Switched out entering straight but only one-paced.
13RED PEONY  M Chadwick  (TT)

Ridden along early to hold midfield position, one-away from fence but got shuffled back around turn and found nothing in straight when popped the question.
14FAIRY EAGLE  K C Leung  (H2/TT)

Began well, racing in midfield early before slipping back entering turn. Gave ground quickly in straight.
