Began fairly, ridden to stay in midfield one-away from fence. Shaken up passing 500m, turned 4-wide and ran on steadily to win on the line.

Ridden to stay with pacemakers before settling three-back along the fence 2L from leader. Had clear run entering straight, urged forward to lead100m but run down close to line.
3HORSE APLENTY  H N Wong  (B/H)

Bumped start, ridden vigorously but failed to muster, settling in midfield. Shaken up around turn, made steady progress in straight to be closest at the finish.
4LUCKY HAMMER  N Callan  (TT)

First out, led to 1200m before dropping into box seat. Put under pressure top of straight and battled on gamely to make the frame.

Jumped with field but eased back to find cover, settling at rear one-away from fence. Began forward move 600m racing three and four wide around field, very wide into straight, battled on gamely.

Began awkwardly, then pushed along between horses behind midfield. Made progress around turn and kept on well in straight without looking dangerous.

Ridden along early though kept wide, before settling behind midfield. Got shuffled back around turn to near last before making up some ground in the straight.

Began well, racing keenly outside leader before taking over lead passing 1200m. Kept on strongly to 100m when running on empty and swamped.

Steadied soon after start then bumped and unbalanced, dropping to rear. Raced keenly approaching turn and blundered. Ran on fairly in straight.

Pressed forward from outside draw, racing three wide in midfield along backstretch and turn. Made up some ground early in straight before tiring final 200m.
