Pressed forward from outside draw, racing three-wide without cover. Made no attempt to improve position around turn, changed gears top of straight, hit front 250m, held off late challenge.
2CELESTIAL SMILE  J Moreira  (B)

Began OK, settling three-back, one off. Took closer order turning for home, picked up momentum gradually in straight and finished off strongly final 200m.
3APOLLO'S CHOICE  D Whyte

Not much early speed, racing towards rear in a one-off position. Did not make any move until reaching home stretch when switched to middle track and finished off nicely.
4RED DANCER  H N Wong  (P/TT)

Ridden to maintain forward position settling one-back, one-off. Took closer order entering straight, kept on well to 200m before turning one-paced.
5DYNAMISM  N Callan  (SR)

Got off well, settling three-back the fence. Improved position turning for home, made use of inside runs to be closest at 200, no extra.
6CLUB LIFE  M L Yeung  (B)

Pressed forward, settling outside leader passing 800m. Tended to lay out at turn, urged forward to lead on straightening, caught 250m but kept on well till tiring final 200m.

Shifted across behind runners from outside draw but kept away from fence. Travelled keenly back stretch, taken very wide in straight to get clear running but only one-paced.

Quickly into stride from inside draw, holding box seat. Lost position slightly turning for home when unable find run. Kept on OK to 200m before tiring.

Began well, settling three-back from leader along fence. Taken out turning for home, improved position slightly before turning one-paced.

Hard ridden to take lead on settling then set steady sections to straight when gave ground gradually.

Shifted across behind runners from wide draw and last on settling. Attempted to improve position but taken wide at 1300m. Never likely. (Hit rail before start but past fit to run).

Crowded out start, dropping to rear close to rail. Hard ridden around turn with little response. Never likely. (Jockey expressed concern with action).
