Caught 3-wide no cover down the back-straight, strolled forward passing 800M to join leaders, led 450M out, fought off a challenge 150M, kept finding extra in the run home.

Up with pace early, 3Ls back in 5th making the turn for home, closed off soundly on straightening, nearest finish.

Held up in midfield about 5Ls behind leaders, saved ground along the inside, driven 500M, ran on steadily. Encouraging debut.
