Comments

1MR VANILLA  J Moreira  (H-/SR)

Soon taken across for rails run in rear of midfield, slightly worse half-way out, switched out for a run entering straight, responded well to take command inside final 200 metres.

2GOLDWEAVER  Y T Cheng  (P)

Niggled at early, prominent on rails when checked and lost position 500 metres out, renewed effort shortly after straightening but found winner too good.

3ZACHARY  M Demuro  (B/TT)

Tight between runners early, towards the rear before making rapid progress out wide far side, two-out-one-back when hampered and lost position 600 metres out, wide in midfield into straight, heavily bumped 250 metres out, kept on.

4VIVA GUY  T H So

Broke well, settled in rear, widest runner turning in, finished off the race well down the centre of the track.

5GLAMOROUS RYDER  M L Yeung  (B/TT)

Taken back from the widest gate, remained well back to straight, saved ground turning in, kept on steadily without threatening.

6EVERSPRING  H W Lai  (B)

Moderately away, positioned 3 lengths or so back on rail in midfield, similar position on turn, checked near 400M, angled out in straight, crowded and bumped near 300M, made some headway thereafter.

7GOLDEN OSMANTHUS  K C Ng  (B/TT)

Soon taken back to race in rear, checked on rails and lost position 400 metres out, saved ground turning for home, ran home one-paced. (Tactic questioned)

8GOOD THINKER  A Suborics  (V-)

Jumped fairly, settled in midfield, saved ground turning in, ran home one-paced.

9CASA JUNIOR  K Teetan  (CP)

Vied for lead from wide draw settling outside the leader 1200 metres out, hit the front coming out of back straight, folded up quickly inside final 200 metres.

10REAL GENERAL  U Rispoli  (SR)

Jumped well, in front early before ceded advantage coming onto stables bend, settled just off the pace down far side, dropped out tamely in straight.

11ARCHER'S BOW  M Guyon  (B/TT)

With leaders early, travelled wide without cover in better than midfield, took off half-way down back straight, unbalanced and lost position 500 metres out, dropped away quickly after straightening.

12MOBILE KING  Z Purton  (B)

Vied for lead early eventually taking up running on rails 1200 metres out, gave ground from home bend. (Questioned for disappointing performance) (Lame next day)
