Came out running to lead clearly to halfway mark, given reminders when pressured 400m and kicked clear for easy win.

Began OK, ridden along but outpaced, dropping to rear on settling. Picked up momentum along outer fence from 300m and finished off strongly.
3ART OF SUCCESS  C Reith  (B1)

Broke well, ridden along between horses to obtain forward position. Made forward move passing 400m and kept on steadily without looking dangerous.

Leaning on stall when gates opened and began only fairly. Lost left front plate passing 600m, hard ridden down centre track to just make the frame. (Rider dislodged on pulling up).
5IMPERIAL FIGHTER  K Teetan

Ridden along to hold midfield position between horses. Put under pressure passing 400m and kept on fairly to line. Bumped final stages.
6HELLA HEDGE  H W Lai  (B)

Jumped well, pushed forward while crossing to outer fence to sit inside leader. Put under pressure from 400m, kept on well to 100m before flattened. Bumped close to line.
7CHOICE TREASURE  Z Purton  (B1)

Away quickly, ridden forward but unable to get closer than 4-away from outer fence. Kept on well under pressure from 400m before tightened 50m and dropping back.
8FUN 'N' GAMES  B Prebble  (B/H)

Pressed forward from awkward gate but unable to get cover and raced on his own down centre track close to leading pack. Kept on well under pressure until 100m when gave ground rapidly.
9ROCKET LET WIN  M Chadwick  (CP/TT)

Slow into stride, taken straight to outer fence but outpaced and shuffled back before reaching course proper. Never a factor.
10TRUE COMMENT  N Callan

Slow to move, ridden along but failed to muster and taken across towards outer fence. Switched in again pasting 250m but never a factor.
11HUMAN TORCH  M Du Plessis  (CP1)

Pressed forward while edging towards outer fence, settling inside leaders 800m. Put under pressure passing 400m but soon out of gas and gave ground quickly.
12LUCKY FOLLOW ME  W M Lai  (B)

Lost ground at start, trailed field thereafter, racing down centre track. Never competitive.
13PLEASANT KNIGHT  H Bowman

Began OK, ridden along in midfield along outer fence until crowded and lost ground 400m. Faded steadily and tailed off. (Unacceptable performance).
