Began well from a low draw, settled about 2L off the pace in 4th or 5th on rails, commenced move entering straight and hit the front over 200 metres out, won readily.

Slightly slow out, tight between runners early and shuffled backward early stages, waited with in last few until over 400 metres out, went widest into straight, ran on well to do best work late.
3CASA JUNIOR  W M Lai  (CP)

Jumped fairly from a poor gate, obtained rails run in front at the 1200 metres but soon restrained to cede lead for 2nd position off the rails on top of stables bend, fought on to hold every chance but outsprinted closing stages.

Soon taken well back from a wide gate and waited with, made significant progress down the straight to be nearest at finish.

Vied for lead from the widest gate, eventually took up running on top of stables bend and led until finding no extra over 100 metres out.

Soon taken back towards the rear on rails, saved a lot of ground entering straight, ran home full of running but did not find much room the length of straight.

Niggled along early after beginning from a middle draw, travelled 3-wide without cover better than midfield stables bend, took closer order to join 2nd passing 800 metres, faded gradually from close up position into straight.

Soon taken back from a poor gate to just worse than midfield, lost position coming out of far side, towards the rear into straight, ran home one-paced.

Jumped fairly from a poor draw, gradually taken back to last few but raced without cover most of way, made short-lived impression around home bend and went very wide into straight, folded up quickly.
