Snagged back soon after jump and cut to rail before first turn. Improved position around turn while hugging rail and got clear passage when others fanned out. Finished strongly to win close home.

Jumped best and led past winning post first time before settling in box seat first turn. Came off fence turning for home, took over lead 200m, run down close to line.

Began fairly, ridden along in midfield, settling in one-off position. Shuffled back around final turn but accelerated strongly final 300m to just miss quinellla spot.

Began well, hugging rail inside leaders till first turn when bit got slipped. Remained 2-back the fence back stretch, rolled forward to challenge entering straight, kept on steadily under hard riding. (See racing incidents)

Hard ridden from wide draw but unable lead and eased to midfield to find cover without success. Travelled wide back stretch and turn but kept on steadily in straight.

Began fairly, not pressured, racing between horses towards rear. Taken 3-wide back stretch, wide around final turn, kept on steadily in straight.
7INVICTUS  K C Leung  (B/XB)

Pressed forward 3-wide to lead passing 1300m before cutting in to fence. Clear leader back stretch and final, caught 200m, one-paced.

Jumped well, ridden along to hold forward position before settling 2-back, one-off back stretch. Gave ground entering straight and one-paced thereafter.
9ENDORSING  K Teetan  (XB1/TT1)

Slow into stride and then steadied, dropping to last. Raced fiercely 1400m, shifted out and bumped another. Left rail turning for home but found little under hard riding.

Began fairly, ridden along to hold rail behind midfield, rolled forward turning for home, made ground to 200m, flattened.

Snagged back from jump, taken across behind runners to sit in last pair. Taken wide passing 900m, wide into straight, found nothing when asked.
12EASY SUCCESS  C K Tong  (XB/TT)

Quickly into stride, settling one-back, one-off first turn and back stretch. Started to give ground final turn and finished tailed off. Performance unacceptable.
