Began well, rolled forward from 1600m to sit outside leader first turn, held together final turn, flat-footed top of straight, picked up momentum 200m and finished nicely.
2REDWOOD BABY  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Squeezed out shortly after start, dropped to behind midfield away from fence, little room final turn, got clear top of straight, flashed home strongly to just miss.
3GOLDEN ADDICTION  J Moreira  (P)

Pressed forward from wide draw to settle one-back, one-off first turn. Edged forward final turn, led shortly after entering straight, unable hold off first two.
4ROYAL PARTNER  A Suborics  (TT)

Jumped well, ridden along behind pace, checked 1600m and taken in. Peeled out entering final turn, kept on steadily in straight to be nearest at finish.
5NOBLE BOY  B Prebble

Began fairly, got head up 1700m when awkwardly placed on heels, dropping to rear. Held up for run final turn and early straight, finished off nicely when clear.

Began well, rolled forward from 1600m to lead into first turn, set steady pace to 200m, kept on one-paced when passed.

Began OK, over raced and difficult to settle approaching first turn. Settled midfield away from fence, improved position final turn but one-paced in straight.

Began OK but crowded for room soon after, settling in midfield along fence. Saved ground final turn, one-paced in straight under hard riding.
9LUCKY OMENS  M Demuro  (CP/TT)

Hampered soon after start and dropped to rear along fence. Shuffled back to near last final turn, ran on steadily to 200m when tightened for space. Not ridden out.

Hampered shortly after start and thereafter raced mostly 3-wide without cover. Turned wide into straight and found little under pressure.
11AMBER DRAGON  O Doleuze  (B)

Jumped best and led to winning post first time before easing into box seat behind leader. Under pressure from 500m and gave ground gradually.
12AMBASSADORSHIP  N Callan  (B2)

Hampered shortly after start, taken across behind runners from wide draw, settling last. Closed in 1100m but checked on heels. Never a threat after that.
