Began OK, not pressured, settling towards rear in a one-off position. Taken very wide entering straight, finished strongly down centre track to just win.

Began well, stayed with leading pack to back stretch before easing 2-back, one-off. Held in pocket entering final turn, switched out 250m, hit front 150m, run down near line.
3STRAIGHT GOLD  N Callan  (H/XB)

Jumped with field, cut to rail entering back stretch, settling midfield. No clear run early in straight, hampered 200m, finished off nicely when clear.
4EL ZONDA  A Suborics  (TT)

Began well but outpaced, dropping to near rear. Picked up momentum 350m, forced to switch out 200m when disappointed for run, kept on well.
5FIONN'S TREASURE  M L Yeung  (B)

Began well, lost place first turn, mustered to grab box seat. Unbalanced, bumped 200m when shifting ground, rolled forward, looked chance before swamped 50m.
6BULLISH FRIEND  M Chadwick  (TT)

Ridden forward but held wide and unable to cross runners. Left without cover from 800m when leading pair crossed to rail. Kept on steadily early in straight before tiring.

Began OK, ridden along but didn't muster, settling behind midfield along rail. Held for running early straight, ran on fairly when clear.
8IMPERIAL ROME  K Teetan  (TT)

Slow into stride, taken across behind runners but held 3-wide back stretch. Swung very wide into straight but only one-paced.
9LONDON CHINA TOWN  C Y Lui

Pressed to go forward, taking lead on settling but very wide. Crossed to rail 900m, led field to 200m before tiring.
10WINDICATOR STAR  Z Purton  (H/P/TT)

Jumped fairly but outpaced, dropping to last back stretch. Stayed on rail entering straight but found little under pressure.
11FULFIL A WISH  W C Marwing  (CP/TT)

Pressed forward and caught 3-wide with cover entering back stretch. Gave ground soon after entering straight.
12CALIFORNIA BOUNTY  K C Leung  (TT)

Ridden forward to sit outside leader but kept very wide until 900m. Gave ground quickly in straight and finished tailed off. Run deemed unacceptable.
