Effectively settled 1 back out 1 back. Made a winning move by shifting out and improving around runners to lead on the fence after the 800m. Had plenty of momentum approaching the home turn and closed off soundly. |

Made its run from last position close to the rail with cover. Took off 4 deep and coursed 3 deep without cover after the 800m. Swung the home turn widest & finished off gamely. |

Eventually crossed after the 1400m, to race outside the leader. Let a couple improve around at the 700m and took up a trailing position. Plugged away in the home stretch. |
