Took a position in midfield, raced 3 wide with cover, 5ls back to turn, came wider in straight and chased solidly, picked up leaders final 100m for a deserved win.
2EAGLE POWER  M Chadwick  (B2)

Rolled forward to take up running, set tempo to suit throughout, had them chasing from 400m, stuck to task but couldn't hold out late challenge.
3GALAXY PRANCER  G Mosse

Slotted into ideal spot 1 out 1 back, was a little difficult to settle but had run of the race to turn, set out after leader and was on terms by 200m, just unable to raise extra effort inside final 50m.
4LET ME HANDLE IT  Z Purton  (V-)

Assumed a midfield role 5ls away in running line, fair run in mid-section, made ground through pack turning, kept chasing to finish soundly on heels of place getters.
5MR MEDICI  A Suborics

Unable to slot in and posted 3 wide without cover, did share of work but speed wasn't overly taxing, amongst challengers for most of straight but just tired a touch late.
6FREE JUDGEMENT  K Teetan

Dropped back from a wide alley to race 3 wide behind midfield with cover, raced 6-7ls back, had cover to turn, produced usual strong finish from tail but unable to pair back margin, closed well enough to be nearest at finish.
7WINNIE'S HORSE  J Moreira  (TT)

Lacked usual pace and settled back with last few, 8ls for leaders, improved at 400m, made solid progress between runners in straight making many lengths to be nearest on line.
8KABAYAN  M L Yeung  (H-/XB)

Tardy to begin, raced in rear division 6-7ls back in running line, still well back to bend, made some ground without looking likely.
9SLICK BULLET  C Y Ho  (P/XB)

Took a midfield spot on rails 4ls or so away, had a quiet trip throughout, came two wide turning, didn't finish off as it had done in the past.
10FUN RIDER  T Angland  (B-)

Dropped back to tails from a tricky gate, raced 9-10ls back in running line, set too great a task, passed a few tired ones late making only minor headway.
11DEEP THINKER  N Callan

Positioned just off midfield, 6ls back in running line, fair trip with steady speed, no real dash in straight and just struggled final 300m.
12WHY NOT  K C Ng  (TT)

Landed a closer spot on rails behind leader, had even trip with fair sections, began to struggle before bend, dropped right out in straight.
13CAPE CANAVERAL  K C Leung  (TT)

Fractious in gates, Showed usual pace to race at leaders girth, there to bend but quickly gave ground when it became apparent that extra trip wasn't too his liking, dropped right out.
