Went straight to the front along the grandstand side & led easily. Cruised to the line and won effortlessly.

Had every chance after getting a nice trial into the race tracking the leaders, stands rail. No excuses.
3SOLAR SPIRIT  T H So  (B-/H1/TT-)

Was prominently placed on the grandstand side, 1 off the paint with cover. Maintained a reasonably gallop to the wire.
4LOVELY BOY  C Y Ho  (B1)

Raced up with the leaders, about 3 from the stand side, no cover. Came up flat over the final stages.
5TRAVEL MASTER  M L Yeung  (TT)

Travelled nearer the far side, towards the rear of the field, had cover at stages. Made some late headway.
6STARS CHASER  A Suborics  (TT1)

Parked in 3rd position, stands rail with cover. Faded over the final 200m.
7ETERNAL GAINS  K C Ng  (TT1)

Raced worse than midfield, closer to the grandstand side and had cover. Kept on at the same speed in the run to the post.
8EVERYONE'S CHOICE  H W Lai

Settled early 3-4 from the stands rail, behind the pace, had cover. Gave ground over the last furlong.
9MIGHT AND VISION  M Chadwick  (TT)

Parked along the center of the track, no cover and midfield. Failed to respond to pressure and never looked likely.
10STORM UNICORN  K C Leung  (B)

Raced towards the grandstand side back in the field with cover. Failed to close off.
11NEWS SUPREME  W M Lai  (TT)

Couldn't match the early speed of the race and travelled a long last, closer to the stands rail. Drifted in over the final 450m, passed tiring horses.
12ALWAYS WONDERFUL  K Teetan  (XB-)

Went back from an unfavorable gate settling midfield near the far side. Struggled over the final furlong.
13ALMIGHTY SUN  T Angland  (SR1/TT1)

Began awkwardly then was hampered after the start setting midfield closer to the far side. Hung in for most of the race and finished well back. (To trial).
14LINMANIA  O Doleuze  (P1/TT1)

Settled along the middle of the track, on the speed, no cover. Was a beaten horse passing the 400m, and tailed out. (To trial).
