Raced in second position, outside the leader, stands rail and without cover. Assumed the lead near the furlong and kept finding in the run to the post.

Had every chance after settling in fourth position on the outside rail with cover. Closed off nicely.
3LOVELY BOY  Z Purton

Camped about 3 off the stands rail tracking the speed, no cover. Worked to the line soundly.
4YAT DING WIN  H W Lai  (H-/TT)

Settled on the grandstand side in the lead. Never really looked comfortable at was a beaten horse at the 200m. Vet reported blood in trachea post race.
5REAL GENERAL  K C Ng  (SR)

Settled 1 off the near side rail, with cover, just behind midfield. Came up flat over the final furlong.
6GOLDWEAVER  C K Tong  (B/TT)

Parked midfield, well off the stands rail, gave ground over the latter stages. Never in the hunt.
7YEUNG SING  A Suborics  (CP)

Couldn't go the early speed of the race settling at the rear, on the grandstand side, had cover. Plugged away over the last furlong.

Travelled not far off the speed 3-4 from the near side fence. Never fired.
9NATURAL CHAMPION  T H So  (H)

Began awkwardly then settled with the backmakers towards the stands rail, had cover. Failed to quicken over the final 300m and finished well back.
10CRIMSON HEART  N Pinna  (TT)

Was fractious in the gates, began poorly and was near the rear of field closer to the middle of the track. Under pressure near the 400m, and was never likely.
