Hit gates running, easily cut in to rail to set good pace, kicked well clear entering straight, went to line unchallenged.

Began well, quickly cut to rail but raced keenly 900m. Improved position turn, peeled 3-wide entering straight, kept on well.

Ridden forward to sit second but away from fence. Lay out turn, put under pressure entering straight and kept on steadily.

Taken out soon after start before cutting in but 3-wide before turn. Taken very wide into straight, ran on steadily.

Ridden to take forward position and held 3-wide with cover. Put under pressure from 400m, making up late ground.
