1CAPTAIN SWEET  D Beadman

Settled 3-wide towards the rear, had a smooth trip to straight, responded well to pressure hitting the front near 100M, held on when tackled by the runner up in final stages.

2NOBLE ALPHA  B Prebble

Held up towards the rear, behind an unsettled runner in middle stages and was hampered near 1100M and 700M, chased eventual winner from 400M, came close to win 100M but the winner found the necessary to hold on.

3SWEET ORANGE  T Angland  (TT)

Strode forward to race outside the leader, led passing 300M, soon pressed by a rival but rallied on under a forceful ride, not pace of first two inside 100M.

4GIFT IS GIFT  M L Yeung

Handily placed behind leading pair, mounted a serious challenge inside 300M, had every chance but not pace of first two inside 100M.

5KYARA  J Lloyd  (H/XB)

Slowly away, became very difficult to settle when taken in behind runners, loomed a threat behind leaders 300M out but was pushed into a pocket mid-straight, didn't get out until late, not properly tested.

6NEW VISION  D Whyte  (B)

Travelled 3-wide in midfield and was left with no cover from 800M, found less than expected in the finish and never looked like getting to the leaders.

7MAJESTIC FALCON  T Clark  (H/XB)

Held up in midfield along the fence, stayed on fairly, held up for a few strides inside 100M but made little difference to the results.

8SAPELLI  K C Leung

Settled near last about 7Ls off the pace, made some progress from the rear over the final 400M but had no impression on the leaders.

9FLYING COLOURS  C Y Ho  (B/XB)

Positioned 2-wide ahead of mid-division, kept on same pace to 200M then weakened.

10LEGEND EXPRESS  H W Lai  (B)

Failed to muster early speed despite being vigorously ridden, ended up near last on the inside, found little in straight, eased inside 150M.
