Guided to a 2-wide position with cover from 14, travelled strongly in midfield throughout, unleashed a powerful run from 400M with minimum urging, lead near 100M, won unextended.

Dropped back, held up in last pair, difficult to settle mid stages, stayed on well final 400M despite hanging in, got up for 2nd late but the winner belongs to a different class.

Led from the off and set a decent clip mid race, opened up a sizable lead passing 300M, headed inside 150M, weakened and lost 2nd close home.

Crossed to a midfield position along the inside, held up 400m to 200M, finished well and would have been closer.

Positioned 3-wide towards the rear, about 6Ls behind leader turning in, ran on steadily from off the pace, in contention for a minor placing final 200M but flattened late stages.
