Urged early but left wide and without cover behind pace from 900M. Rallied on in the straight and dominated final furlong.

Raced 3-wide behind midfield. Swung widest and was 5Ls down turning in. Covered good ground for 2nd.

Away in line and settled 3-wide at midfield. Responded fairly well when asked in the straight but couldn't match the finishing effort of the front pair.
4CONFUCIUS CLASSIC  K C Leung  (SW/TT)

Not hurried early and sat 2-wide towards rear. Kicked with the main bunch in the straight but was interfered 250M. Resumed satisfactorily to make frame near the post.
5GILDED FLIGHT  M W Leung  (SW)

Hard ridden early. Eventually cut to the fence and shared lead from 900M. Remained one-paced home straight.

Began well but not clear to cross. Gradually eased to a spot wide and without cover ahead of midfield from 900M. Held ground without threat in the straight.

Niggled along the fence after start and raced behind midfield. Shifted 2-wide in the straight and found difficulty in obtaining clear running 200M. Made up some late ground.

Bumped at start. Soon recovered to a spot 2-wide behind leaders. Well positioned to strike in the straight but only plugged on. Weakened final 100M.

Pressed early but couldn’t muster. Raced towards rear on fence to final stretch. Beat tired runners home.

Well enough away and was taken to 2-wide behind midfield. Unable to see daylight top of home straight and was hampered at 250M. Resumed fairly.
