Always thereabouts on rails, fought hard to gain slender advantage over 100 M out, just held off runner-up's late challenge.

Drawn wide and raced wide in prominent positions mostly in 4th to straight, fought on under pressure to just fail to peg back winner.

Waited with, circled field around the bend, finished off race nicely off the rails, did best work late.

Towards the rear, raced wide into the straight, made up good ground as usual down the centre of the track, nearest at finish.

Attempted to make all, came under pressure to maintain position after straightening, folded up quickly inside final 100 M.

Midfield, came to challenge after straightening but baulked over 150 M out, kept on to the finish.

Slowly away, raced wide towards the rear early improving to midfield far side, took closer order turning for home, kept on before fading inside final 200 M.

Settled just better than midfield, not much room behind leaders early in straight, found nothing inside final 200 M.

Jumped moderately, soon settled in midfield on rails, saved a lot of ground turning in, weakened badly under pressure inside final 200 M. (Questioned for disappointing performance.)
