Settled in midfield from a bad draw, came under pressure rounding home bend, fought on steadily to claim 2nd closing stages.

Began with others, soon driven across the track to settle in a one-out-out-back position, maintained a similar spot down far side and was about 2Ls back in 3rd into straight, fought on steadily without threatening.

Never too far off in 3rd or 4th on rails, similar when just over 3Ls off the speed turning for home, kept on same pace without quickening.

Led the field into back straight, ceded advantage to settle for 2L 2nd, held same to home turn, fought on under pressure until finding no extra inside final 200 M.
