Settled in good position behind leader and travelled strongly throughout, quickened well when asked and gained the lead inside 100 M to win going away.

Sped to the early lead, dueled on the back straight but emerged as the clear leader turning for home, kept on well but couldn't withstand the winner's late charge from inside 150 M.
3SOHNA  J Victoire  (B/TT)

Held inside running in midfield, held up while approaching the entrance of home straight, ran on final 200 M to take 3rd on the line.
4GOLDEN BAUHINIA  M Chadwick

Contested the pace on the outside, continued on final 300 M but couldn't find the extra to seriously challenge. Just missed out on 3rd.
5SUCCESSFUL ERA  G Mosse

Behind midfield and not hurried in early stages, saved ground along the inside, made even progress inside 300 M and battled willingly from between rivals to the line.
6GOUF  B Prebble  (SW2/TT)

Placed ahead of midpack, shifted out on the final turn and moved to a striking position passing 400 M, made up some ground but was not a serious threat. (Jockey questioned re his riding in straight / Blood in trachea.)

Drawn wide but soon crossed to a midfield position one off the fence, ran on one-paced before finding no extra in the closing stages.
8SURE GOOD  K C Leung  (B/TT)

Taken across behind runners after the start, towards the rear throughout and failed to make any late impact.
9KOWLOON PRIDE  J Lloyd  (XB1)

Checked at the start, lacked any speed and raced a long way off the pace in detached last, crept closer passing 500 M, ran on mildly but never factored.
10JUST RIGHT  W M Lai  (SR)

Unable to cross from a wide draw, dropped back to mid-division 3-wide without cover, came wider turning into straight and lacked the needed kick when asked. (Jockey reminded not to cover unnecessary ground.)

Raced handily behind leaders while 2-wide, had his chance but run ended passing 200 M and weakened rapidly.
12SUPER FIGHTER  B Doyle  (V)

Restrained to a rearward position, 6Ls down in a very unpromising position turning in and gave no response under urge.
