Held up 3 and 4-back along the fence about 4Ls from speed before final bend, quickened through a gap 150 M out, soon led and held on.

Tracked pacesetter in 2nd out 2-wide from 800 M to final bend, a neck back in 2nd at the 200 M, didn't shirk the task but always just held.

Soon led on fence by 1L and held a similar break through to the home straight, headed over 100 M out but easily hung on for a place.

Box-seated on fence 2Ls back in 3rd until straightening for home, given every chance but was too one-paced to conclude.

4th on the inner within 3Ls of the pace before spinning into home straight, 1L down and with place hopes at 200 M, did not follow through.

Slowest out and 6Ls last down the back, still well adrift turning for home but recovered good late ground, never nearer.

Always slightly worse than midfield, about 5Ls back at halfway, retrieved minor late ground in the straight no real threat overall.

Away well, eased back to midfield 4Ls off speed at 800 M, closer on straightening, had his chance and lacked a turn of foot.

Unbalanced at the start, 3-wide sometimes without cover in midfield until home turn when 4Ls down, soon struggling, disappointing effort.

Caught very wide without cover throughout, midfield initially but retreating when 6Ls off turning for home, no danger.

Yet another poor run, always rearward at least 5Ls from the pace, offered little or nothing.
