Began well, took prominent spot 1000 M out. Battled well in the straight and prevailed closing stages.

Trapped 4-wide early and shifted 2-wide behind midfield passing 800 M. Improved wide rounding the bend and was 5Ls down on straightening. Made good progress to figure in quinella near the line.

Trapped wide without cover at midfield on first turn. Allowed to race 3-wide behind leaders passing 900 M. Attacked the lead turning in and hung in badly on straightening. Every chance over final 150 M.

Disputed lead on fence until overhauled by the front trio passing 200 M. Hung on to make frame.
5SUGAR ON TOP  G Cheyne  (B)

3-wide at rear making the first turn and trailed field on fence 900 M out. 7Ls away on straightening and covered substantial ground thereafter.

Quickly into stride. Taken to race 2-wide better than midfield through to the home turn and was 3Ls down turning in. One-paced to conclude.

Soon in the front rank but was trapped 3-wide. Steadied to midfield for cover from 800 M. Swung 5-wide and was 5Ls behind the lead on straightening. Ran on only fairly.
