Slowly away and 4-back the rails about 6Ls behind early speed, 3Ls back off final turn and led at the 200 M, asserted inside final 100 M.

3-back on fence 5Ls back in midfield at halfway, closer turning in and upsides winner at 200 M, run peaked, well clear of 3rd home.

One from rear 9Ls off pace at the 800 M and not much closer on straightening, stayed on through pedestrian rivals to nick an unlikely, remote 3rd.

Raced in 4th on the rails about 3Ls off pace at 1000 M, still close enough in 3rd entering the home straight, had every chance to place, only got 4th.

A neck clear on fence initially, 2Ls to the good from the 800 M to final turn, headed by quinella pair 300 M out and rapidly slipped out of contention.

Rearward at least 7Ls from the speed down the back, marginally closer turning for home, one-paced to conclude.

Trapped 3 and 4-wide no cover in midfield about 5Ls off pace until before home turn, tired in the straight after the tough trip.

Never any better than midfield, struggling turning for home and one-paced to finish off, very flat run for one so fancied.

Midfield or better 4Ls or 5Ls down through to final section, very one-paced and, as such, no chance of taking advantage.

Last between 7Ls and 9Ls from the front through to home bend, held up a little on inside around the 200 M but of little consequence overall.

6Ls back in 8th or so from back straight to home straight, found nothing under pressure.

Over-raced when a neck down in 2nd initially, 1L off in 2nd at the 800 M and 2Ls down off last turn, very one-paced to wrap up. (Questioned for poor performance.)

Worse than midfield and very wide throughout sometimes without cover, never got into it.

3Ls back in 3rd at the 1000 M, began to lose this proximity before the home straight, eased out of the race. (Bled.)
