Travelled well 3-back on rails in mid-division between 3Ls and 4Ls from pace through to last bend, quickened up to lead 100 M out, all out to hang on.

Lost ground at start, about 5Ls back in 9th at halfway, 4-wide no cover from the 600 M, finished off very strongly, just failed, vastly improved run.

4-back the rails in 8th or so about 5Ls off pace at 1000 M, shuffled back a little before home turn, still finished off strongly along the rails for 3rd.

8Ls off pace in rear at the 1000 M, still at the tail but a little closer off last turn, finished off well down the centre of the track and not far off in 4th.

4Ls back in midfield at the 1000 M, 3-wide no cover from the 500 M, briefly threatened when 1L back in 4th at the 200 M, run peaked.

Slowest out, taken back, one from rear 7Ls off pace at halfway, made some late headway but never quite troubled the principals.

Pressed forward from wide gate to be 2-wide and 1L off pace from 1200 M to 500 M, all out to be upsides 200 M out, swamped late on.

Taken back to race 6Ls back in 10th at the 1000 M, still with the most of the field ahead of him turning for home, kept chasing them.

Handily placed 2-wide and 2Ls back in 5th at the 1000 M, a little further back in midfield off last curve, dropped out quite tamely.

Slow out, in front rank but caught 3-wide no cover through first half of the race, 1L back in 2nd on straightening, soon fizzled out.
