Out in line, angled to take trailing position but forced to travel 3 wide, obtained cover racing 4Ls back, made a 4 wide run turning and quickly swept to lead at 250 M, held off late challenge.

2MOON CHASER  D Whyte

Jumped nicely, assumed spot on rails, checked 800 M, 3Ls behind pace pair and gradually improved on circle raced with eventual winner leaving bend, into clear at 300 M and chased gamely late.

3HOME TREASURE  G Mosse

Began well, pushed on to race outside leader, had a fair run in mid-section, right there turning and took over shortly after, in mix to 200 M but couldn't go with first two final furlong.

4THREE CLUBS  M W Leung

Ordinary jump, ended up behind midfield 5Ls off top end, not asked in mid-section, gradually improved turning, switched out at 150 M and made some late progress to make frame.

5WISE LOVER  Z Purton  (B)

Even break, positioned move forward than usual, raced 4Ls back on fence, travelled well on bend, angled out turning and made minor progress to 200 M before run ended.

6HAPPY WIN  K M Chin

First to break, led early before taking a trail, had an easy time thereafter, 2Ls down on turning, just held ground without threatening principals.

7HORACE'S LEGEND  J Winks

Standard break, unable to drop in, ended up 6Ls back in 3 wide line, still back with last few rounding bend, made useful progress to be nearest on line.

8KEEP ME  Y T Cheng

Fair jump, pushed forward but caught 3 wide without cover, forced to work in middle stages, 2Ls off lead racing 4 wide on bend, struggled inside 300 M and remained one paced late.

9GLORY OF INDIA  M Du Plessis  (B1)

Allowed to drift back from a wide draw, positioned 7 to 8Ls back at rear, raced 3 wide on circle, switched widest on turning, made some late progress from an impossible position.

Began well, pushed on to take up running, set standard tempo in front, still sharing lead on turning, there to 200 M before faded out.

11GOOD LUCK WIN  K L Chui  (B/XB/TT)

Amongst first few out, slotted in 1 out 1 back, overraced and was difficult to settle in mid-section, shifted 3 wide on circle, lacked turn of foot at 300 M, dropped out late.

12SUPER GOAL MASTER  C K Tong  (B/TT)

Moderate jump, ended up 5Ls back in running line, raced ungenerously throughout, still well back to bend, lacked usual finish and just battled at rear. (Jockey reported better suited to Happy Valley.)

13TRAVEL GUIDE  R Silvera  (B/H)

Poor break, ended up 3 wide with a trail 5Ls away, covered ground throughout, well back on turning, made no real progress in straight.

14QUALITY-QUALITY  H W Lai  (B-)

Outpaced soon after jump, settled amongst rearward division 6Ls from top end, still well back with job to do on turning, made no impression in straight.
