Began with others from a high draw, soon taken back to race in rear, waited with, no clear passage early in straight and steadied for a run 200 M out, quickened up well late to snatch victory on line.

Soon taken back from the widest barrier, trailed the field to straight, produced a strong finish down centre of the track, held every chance but denied by a narrow margin.
3SILVER BLAZE  M Chadwick

jumped with others but slightly slow into stride, settled 2 back on rails just better than mid-division of bunched field, not much room upon straightening, ran on steadily to be nearest at finish.
4ELITE SIXTY-SIX  D Beadman

Settled wide in forward of midfield after beginning from wide barrier, gradually shifted out for a clear run after straightening, produced steady late headway final 200 M despite shifting ground.
5SOHNA  J Victoire  (B)

Began awkwardly losing ground, settled well back as usual for a late burst through the field in straight, nearest at finish.
6HAPPY MASTER  G Mosse  (SR)

Began from a poor draw, soon taken back to race in rear but without cover, took closer order around home bend, made steady headway in straight without seriously threatening.
7FLY ME TO THE MOON  D Whyte

Began with others, settled within 2Ls of pace with inside run, kicked 1L clear early in straight and soon flattered, swamped over 100 M out.
8DANABAA  O Doleuze  (B)

Broke well, settled outside joint leader most of way, carried wider around the bend, fought on in vain under pressure in straight, folded up quickly inside final 200 M. (Questioned.)

Began fairly, close up and disputed lead around home bend, drifted out turning for home, soon yielded ground.

Slow to muster, picked up under urge along rails to travel just worse than midfield, gradually faded out of contention after straightening. (Questioned for poor performance.)

Sluggish at start, soon recovered to worse than midfield of bunched field, found nothing under pressure in straight.

Broke well from a high draw, steadily shuffled back to last few despite niggling along far side, remained same around home bend and into straight, always struggling.

Well placed in prominent position, shaken up turning for home, folded up tamely soon after straightening.
