1DREAM TEAM  C Soumillon  (TT)

Well enough away, slotted into ideal trail, travelled strongly throughout, eased out at 400 M, took length of straight to overhaul leader prevailing in shadows of post.

2ROMPING  J Victoire  (B)

Fast into stride, crossed to race outside leader, had ideal run with steady speed, levelled up soon after turning in, hit front and kicked strongly at 300 M, caught in final few strides.

3PLAN EX  Y T Cheng  (B)

Slow away, settled at rear 5Ls back on rails, steady pace not to suit, not far away when field bunched turning, had to steer chequered course in straight and made many lengths last 200 M. Unlucky.

4WINNING REWARD  S K Sit  (B)

Standard jump, positioned just behind midfield 4Ls away on rails, had a quiet trip to bend, weaved between horses at 300 M and closed off nicely to make frame.

5FERRO BEAU  M Du Plessis

Well enough away, kept on to hold position behind leader, enjoyed easy run throughout, stayed on solidly along inside in straight before run closed at 100 M and unable to get closer.

6WILLING STORM  D Beadman  (H)

Moderate beginning, ended up sharing near 5Ls away in 2 wide line, not helped by steady pace on, back in traffic on turning, and had no real crack to 200 M and was only clear when it was too late.

7PRESTO  D Whyte

Even break, took a midfield position 3Ls or so away in running line, reasonable run in mid-section, shifted wide turning but could only hold ground in run to line.

8WEI HAI INVINCIBLE  K C Leung  (SW/TT)

Fastest out, took up running set steady tempo to suit, 1/2L clear on bend, challenged and headed passing 350 M, emptied at 200 M and folded late.

9HORACE'S CHOICE  G Mosse  (H/TT)

Out in line, caught wide from an awkward alley, never better than 4 wide without cover in midfield, still 4Ls down on turning, struggled to dash after using too much and battled in run to line.

10GALEN WIN  B Prebble  (SW/TT)

Jumped with rest, crossed into a midfield trailing position, raced 4Ls back but overraced in mid-section, had a reasonable cart into the race, steadied at 200 M, not a factor thereafter.

11BROM BROM  M L Yeung  (B2)

Fair to break, unable to slot in and posted 3 wide without cover in midfield, pressed on 3Ls back turning, gradually faded after straightening when hard run took toll.

12HE CAN TANGO  J Winks  (B)

Began well but restrained to rear, raced 3 wide at tail, 5Ls off front, not helped by steady pace on, still at rear turning, made no impression in straight.
