Ideally placed in 'one-out-one-back' position at 1000 M and quickened up to lead off home turn, kept up to his work but the win was unconvincing.

Slow to muster pace, 4Ls back in 6th at 1000 M and same turning in, stayed on well for pressure to nick 2nd on the line.
