Jumped well from the advantageous inside draw, went forward with minimal effort, led steadily to bend and travelled strongly, kept finding extra in straight and stuck on gamely to hold off the fast finishing 2nd.
2SURVEY SURVEY  W C Marwing  (XB/TT)

Away in line, settled in mid-division 4Ls back, used little in running, held up on straightening to 300 M, finished the fastest of all and just failed narrowly to catch the front running leader.
3BRILLIANT CHAPTER  D Whyte

Switched off to race towards the rear and trailed 7Ls to leader in middle stages, 3-wide turning home, picked up well inside 400 M but never looked like catching the runaway leader. Just prevailed in a 4 way photo for 3rd.
4ONE WORLD  G Mosse  (H/TT)

Difficult to settle from the outset, travelled 3-wide in midfield without cover, brought with a challenge passing 300 M, battled on but unable to close in on the leader. Missed out on 3rd by a narrow margin.
5MASTER POWER  Z Purton  (B)

Quickly into stride, handily placed behind leader, travelled well enough going into straight, ran on steadily inside 350 M without troubling the winner. Outpaced gradually close home.
6GALLANT LION  O Doleuze  (H)

Jumped well, restrained to hold a position behind midfield 5Ls off the pace, shuffled further back approaching home straight, angled out near 400 M and finished the race strongly.
7O'REILLY RALLY  M Chadwick  (TT)

Fast away, showed customary early speed to be right up with the leader, had every chance in straight but responded only fairly under hands and heels riding. Gave ground from 200 M.
8FULL OF JOY  H W Lai

Moderate start, shaken up to take a spot in mid-division about 3Ls back, saved ground along the fence, ridden out near 400 M but had nothing more to give on the run to the line. (Blood in trachea.)
9NEVER LOOK BACK  M Du Plessis

Eased back on jumping, soon crossed to the rail and guided to a position behind midfield, not helped by the slow tempo on the turn, asked near 300 M but never got into things. (Bled.)
10OURAJA  Y T Cheng  (B)

Away with them, travelled prominently behind leaders, struggled to keep up on straightening, weakened and gave ground passing 200 M.
11JOYFUL WINNER  K C Leung  (TT-)

No early pace and travelled in last throughout, ran poorly in straight and never picked up.
