1UNIQUE JEWELLERY  D Whyte

Quickly into stride, taken to a prominent spot behind leaders, travelled well throughout, crept up to lead from 250 M, rapidly accelerated away to win in good style.

2HURRICANE DASH  W C Marwing  (XB/TT)

Taken back on jumping, settled towards the rear 7Ls behind leader, delivered a strong finish down the outside of track to take 2nd on the line.

3ELITE CHAMPION  E Saint-Martin  (TT1)

Began moderately, guided to a more prominent spot in front of midfield, 4Ls off the leader 2-wide, angled into clear inside 400 M, ran on well but couldn't match the winner's turn of foot.

4SINGING DINERS  H W Lai  (TT)

Standard jump, slotted into a midfield position 3-wide niggling along on turn, fought on strongly under pressure to finish a creditable 4th. (1st start after a long absence from track.)

5UPSIDE OF ANGER  Z Purton  (XB)

Eased to the rear after start, switched wide on turning covering ground, dashed home well down the outside without threat to the winner.

6HORACE'S CHOICE  C K Tong  (H/TT)

Taken back on jumping, settled 5Ls back behind midfield, difficult to settle in early stages, picked up well entering 300 M but run ended when crowded for room inside 200 M. Not fully tested.

7HIGH INTELLIGENT  M Du Plessis  (B/TT)

Unable to cross from the outside barrier and was left racing wide without cover in mid-division, ran home fairly under pressure but lacked extra gear.

8RICE FIELD  D Beadman  (TT)

Standard beginning, assumed a midfield position 4 to 5Ls behind leader, not suited by the early pace, switched wide to improve on turning, briefly led 350 M out but unable to sustain effort, weakened inside 200 M.

9ROMPING  B Doyle

Slightly slow out, settled 5Ls back along inside, saved ground on bend, made some progress on straightening, checked near 150 M.

10BLEDISLOE  F Coetzee

Even back, drifted back to a rearward position 8Ls behind leader, lacked finish and only beat tired horses in run to line.

11TEAM WORK  M L Yeung  (B-)

Bounced out well, pressed forward to race alongside leader, struggled to improve at 300 M when they dashed, weakened inside 200 M.

12ABLE DRAGON  Y T Cheng

Hard ridden to take closer order better than midfield, tracked well on turning, didn't produce a finish in straight and just plugged away to line.

13BEAUTY FOREVER  K L Chui  (TT1)

Awkwardly away, failed to muster early speed, ended up racing towards the rear about 7Ls back, struggled on turning and didn't pick up under pressure.

14MR COOL  C W Wong  (B/TT)

One of the first to jump, pushed forward to take up running on the rail under a steady tempo, had pressure from outside horses on bend, folded up under pressure inside 300 M, dropped out.
