Settled wide in forward of midfield in 6th from a wide barrier, gained slightly closer to 5th inside the 1000 metres, 4-wide under pressure into straight, hit the front over 200 metres out and just defied late challenges.

Settled 3-wide behind midfield, gained slightly closer passing the 1000 metres, soon came to challenge after straightening, fought on well to just fail to get up on line,

Pressed forward from a middle barrier, restrained in 2nd outside the leader turning into back straight, became 3rd in similar position 1000 metres out, shifted 3-wide home bend, ran on under pressure to just fail to get up.
4TIANCHI MONSTER  C Y Ho

Settled in midfield on the rail, saved ground turning in, baulked for a run early in straight, quickened well inside final 250 metres but unable to sustain effort late.

5ROMANTIC COMBO  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Close up early, shuffled over 2L back to 5th turning into back straight, became 6th some 3L back passing the 1000 metres, fought on steadily under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Moderate start, soon dropped to last few despite ridden along, improved steadily towards midfield turning into back straight, in similar position in 9th into home straight, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Settled well behind from a wide barrier, kept on between runners after turning into home straight, produced good late impression closing stages.
