Bustled along to take the lead early, set good pace throughout, pressed on nearing 250M, kept finding extra and repelled a strong challenge from the runner-up over final 100M.

Began only fairly but was able to obtain a forward position under positive riding, well placed to strike turning in, chased winner from 300M out, late surge final 100M, just held.

Dropped in behind midfield, 6Ls away from leader and the eventual winner passing 400M, finished with a flourish final 250M and got to within 1L of the winner.

From wide barrier guided to a 2-wide position ahead of midfield, hung in under pressure home straight, chased front pair from 300M but was always held.

Steadied soon after the start, taken across to fence racing behind midfield, stayed on from off the pace, did best work late.

Positioned ahead of midfield, driven 400M out but never going the pace to seriously challenge.
