Given all the favours settling 3 back the rail. Grabbed the lead at the 100m and battled on to claim the prize.
2MEGA CASTLE  O Doleuze  (B)

Sent forward and enjoyed an uncontested lead for much of the journey. Still had a decent break on straightening and maintained a good gallop down the running.
3KUNG HEI FAT CHOI  G Cheyne  (XB)

Had every possible chance slotting in to travel 1 out 1 back after drawing wide. Worked to the line soundly.
4BULB TREASURE  W M Lai

Settled leaders back along the paint. Gave way over the last 100m, held on to make the frame.
5MASTER DRAGON  Y T Cheng  (B/TT)

Parked midfield, 1 off with cover. Turned for home about 3-4 deep and stayed on one paced in the run to the wire.

Settled with the backmakers along the fence. Went for runs in the straight towards the inside and made only moderate ground.
7HEALTHY CONTENDER  D Whyte  (H)

Eventually settled 4 back the fence. Railed up turning for home but failed to find any when placed under pressure soon after the 350m.

Travelled at the tail of the field, 1-2 wide with cover. Kept to the inside in the home straight but only plugged away.

Settled back in the field, 3 deep with cover. Made a forward move near the 800m but was posted 3 wide without cover thereafter and was well beaten passing the furlong.
10SUNNY SMILES  D Beadman  (B)

Remained 1 off the fence, close to midfield with cover, despite being hard ridden in the early stages to be a touch closer. Failed to find any extra in the home straight.
11VANQUISH DELIGHT  G Mosse

Coursed 3 wide without cover, behind midfield in the early & middle stages before improving and racing outside the leader after the 900m. Was running on empty over the final stages.
12DRAGON CHOICE  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Slow to begin settling worse than midfield 3 wide with cover for most of the trip. Struggled in the final stretch.
