Began awkwardly and lost ground, ended up towards the rear 7Ls off the pace, remained on the inside turning in, steered into clear 300M and quickened impressively, led 150M and kept on strongly to the line.
2ELEGANCE DESIRE  W M Lai  (XB)

Positioned 2-wide towards the rear, ran on well when switched to outside on straightening, chased the winner in the final 200M, nearest finish.
3THE LUCKY STEED  K H Yu  (B/SR)

Chased the pace in 3rd, kept on evenly final 400M but could make no real impression on the first two.
4ST FEVRE  B Prebble  (TT)

In midfield 3-wide and was left without cover making the turn, ran on steadily inside 400M for a non-threatening 4th.

Never far off the pace in 4th, produced with every chance but turned one-pace final 150M.

Held up behind midfield, saved ground along the fence, ran on final 400M but no extra pace to seriously challenge.

Taken across behind runners from draw 10 and raced towards the rear throughout, swung widest into straight and made only limited progress.

Slow to begin, settled behind midfield 2-wide, had difficulty obtain clear running until after 200M but ran on fairly when clear.

Held up 2-wide in midfield, kept on fairly, checked 150M and out of contention.

Raced along the fence in mid-division, made a short-lived effort on straightening, one paced final 200M.

Sped to the lead and set a decent pace at the front end, opened up a 3Ls gap leaving the home turn, weakened mid-straight and headed 150M. No extra.
